Akbatı Kite Festival

All kite lovers from 7 to 70 years of age fulfilled their dreams as Akbatı Kite Festival was held amidst the green environment in Festival Park in fresh air of spring. Colourful kites which were designed by Burcu Baraner met the blue sky. Mehmet Naci Aköz, President of Istanbul Kite Makers Society who has devoted his life to kites, participated in the kite workshops where the guests enjoyed the weekend as they had the opportunity to learn how to make and fly kites.

The festival was further enriched with the kite making workshops, face painting and balloon workshops, special shows and surprise offers in addition to the music played by Radio Voyage throughout the day.
